a 1991 straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, flea-bitten grey, softly attractive mare exhibiting elegance and grace. Allikad's legs are straight and clean, with large flat knees, large round hooves, moderate length pastern joints with good angle. She drives well off her hocks that are nicely let down and has round motion showing english potential. Her ribs are well sprung and her barrel deep with good heart girth. She has good width and depth of chest, well developed shoulders and hindquarters as well as overall refinement and balance between neck, hip and back with an admirable top line. Her neck is of good length with a fine/clean throatlatch and excellent bend at the poll. She bridles nicely - is feminine in appearance with medium sized, attentive ears. Her slightly dished attractive head is short, triangular in shape with a medium sized jaw and large soft dark eyes that have good width between them. She is slightly over 15 hands tall.

Allikad is an admirable blending of athletically inclined as well as halter champion horses. Sired by Nabiel, the U.S. National Champion Futurity Stallion of 1974, National Top Ten Stallion of 1975 and 1976, a Most Classic Arabian and Legion of Honor Winner as well as sire of numerous champions and champion producers. Nabiel won over 30 Class A Show Championships. Nabiel daughters are sought throughout the world for their contribution of classic type, quality and production ability. Allikad is out of *Dakilla (imported from the UK) and was bred and foaled at Kehilan Arabians, Inc. of Texas). *Dakilla was sired by Kheiralla who was bred at the EAO and exported to the UK as a 2 year old. Kheiralla was sired by Kayed (*Morafic x Kaydahom by Azmi), Al Badeia's chief sire known for producing exotic type no matter what mare was used and is great-grandsire of the 2003 Salon Du Cheval Champion mare, Gelgellah AlBadeia. Kheiralla was out of El Amira (Nazeer x Zaafarana), a full sister to the successful race horse (4 wins out of 8 starts 1961-62 season) *Talal who was herd sire of Kline Arabians in the U.S. Nazeer was also a successful racehorse (4 wins out of 12 starts 1937/38) and a prolific sire of quality which is often inherited by his descendants. El Amira was dam to Ferial, *Wadeea, Sabra, Bint El Arabi, Sharbat, *Haala, *Om El Kheir, *Bedour,*Dananier, and *Hasna El Badia. *Dakilla is out of Bint Alia who was exported from Egypt to Germany then exported from Germany to the UK, then imported to the U.S. by Bentwood Farms and dam of AK Sharalla, RA Bint Alicia (exp. to Argentina), *Bint Saab (exp. to U.S), *Ben Mehanna (exp. to Germany, then Austria) and *Amara (exp to Germany, Austria, then Switzerland). *Bint Alia was sired by Korayem a successful racehorse (4 wins out of 4 starts) before becoming a sire at Hamdan Stables. Korayem is a Nazeer son out of Helwa the granddam of *Ghazala, and tail female line for Shahloul, Anter, *Bint Serra I, and El Moez (sire of Sameh). Bint Alia is out of Alia dam of *Monaa (exp. to Germany, The Netherlands, then the U.S.), Ola (exp. to Russia, then to Lithuania). Alia was sired by Amrulla a successful racehorse (7 wins out of 12 starts 1958/59) before standing at stud at El Zahraa. Amrulla was sired by Sid Abouham a successful racehorse (13 wins out of 28 starts1939/45) out of Zaafarana described by Judith Forbis as "very elegant fine boned, Saklawi type with good reach and excellent gaits". Alia is out of Maysouna dam of *Ansata Bint Misuna (dam of Ansata Abu Sudan, Ansata El Masri and Ansata Selene) and *Berlanty. (dam of *Shiaa - Legion of Merit) Maysouna was sired by Kheir, a sire of successful racehorses Mandour and *Fadel.
