Speaking to the genotypical patterns of the maternal family of AW Angelique: On the sire's side of Nehfeesah's pedigree, her sire (AK Desert Khana) is the result of breeding a *Morafic son (Shaikh Al Badi) to a *Morafic granddaughter (AK Bint Moroufa). Her paternal granddam (AK Bint Moroufa) was the result of breeding a *Morafic son (The Egyptian Prince) to a *Morafic granddaughter (AN Moroufa by *Ibn Moniet El Nefous). AN Moroufa's dam (Bint Aaroufa) was sired by a *Fadl son (Fa-Serr) and out of a Aaroufa, a *Fadl granddaughter. The aforementioned following the rule of thumb "let the sire of the sire to be the grandsire of the dam". Aaroufa's sire (Fa-Serr) was a grandson of Ibn Rabdan and her dam (*Maaroufa) was a daughter of Ibn Rabdan. *Maaroufa's dam (Mahroussa) was bred similarly in that her sire (Mabrouk) was a maternal grandson of Dahman and her dam (Negma) was a daughter of Dahman. In these last two instances the sire of the dam was the grandsire of the sire. On the dam's side, Nehfeesah's maternal grandsire is the result of breeding a grandson of Nazeer (SAR Fadl Halim) to a grandaughter of Nazeer (SAR Fa Mora) who were maternal brother and sister both being out of one of Ansata's foundation Babson mares, Sabrah. Sabrah was the result of a *Fadl son (Fabah) being bred to a *Fadl granddaughter (Serrasab). Fabah's dam was *Bint Bint Sabbah who was the result of breeding a Mabrouk Manial son (Baiyad) to a Mabrouk Manial granddaughter (Bint Sabah). Serrasab, was also the result of a *Fadl son (Fa-Serr) being bred to a *Fadl granddaughter (Fay-Sabbah). Fay-Sabbah's dam was again *Bint Bint Sabbah and again was the result of breeding a Mabrouk Manial son (Baiyad) to a Mabrouk Manial granddaughter (Bint Sabah). In each of these, the sire of the sire was the grandsire of the dam. Nehfeesah's maternal granddam (DB Dahmamoniet) was sired by Nabiel+/ who's sire (*Sakr) was the result of breeding a grandson of Moniet El Nefous (Sultan) to a great granddaughter of Moniet El Nefous (Enayat - who was also a Nazeer granddaughter). Nabiel's maternal granddam (Maysa) was the result of breeding a Hamdan son (Antar) to a Hamdan daughter (Mahfouza). DB Dahmamoniet's dam (Jamila Shamahl) was the result of a pedigree match in the fold of her pedigree via her sire's maternal granddam (Rafica) being sired by Nazeer out of Om El Saad (a Bint Rissala granddaughter) and her dam's paternal grandsire (Alaa El Din) also being by Nazeer out of Kateefa (a Bint Rissala daughter) making them approximately 3/4th siblings. Jamila Shamahl's maternal granddam (Narjisa) was sired by Moftakhar who was also out of Kateefa and her dam was also sired by Nazeer but out of *Bint Nefisaa who's paternal granddam and maternal great-granddam was Farida making her pure in strain Dahmah Shahwaniya to the 1st generation. *Bint Nefisaa's sire (Nazeer) was a paternal grandson of Nafaa El Saghira and her dam (Nefisa) was a paternal great-granddaughter of Nafaa El Saghira via Ibn Samhan (the sire of Balance) who is a maternal 1/2 brother to Mansour.
