Congratulations to Ray and Marcia Ellis of Two Mountain Ranch on their acquisition of Amir El Rashid. Amir El Rashid is an excellent young stallion that was bred with structure and performance in mind both genotypically and phenotypically. As a coming three year old with more growing to do, he exhibited everything we look for in a performance prospect and more at this stage of growth. Starting from the tip of his nose, he has large expansive nostrils on a tapered muzzle on the end of prominent tear bones atop a large jowl. His head is handsome with a good dish and good width between his dark eyes. He bends well at the poll from an upright neck of good length that ties in smoothly to prominent withers and a nicely laid back well developed shoulder (24.5") that attaches to a good length of humerous (15.5"). His forearms (14.5") are nearly double the length of his cannons (7.5") with good bone (8.5") and large joints on nicely sloped medium length pasterns attached to large round black hooves that are as dense and tough as can be. His back is relatively short and strong with a well-sprung rib cage extending to within two inches of his hip bone with 71.5" depth of heart girth. Moving to his hindquarters, the point of his lumbar sacral joint is within 2" to an imaginary line extending across from point of hips giving him a smooth, strong coupling with good depth of hip (20") that are slightly sloping with properly angled rear limbs enabling him to drive deep under himself for good impulsion. His stifle is prominent and appropriately squared with 21" from buttock to stifle joint. His gaskins are well developed and hocks nicely let down with rear cannons about 1" longer than the front cannons. In motion, he carries his tail in a flag position sometimes curling it over his back in exhuberance. This young stallion will be exciting to follow over the years, and we look forward to his essence in full bloom. JEVA Farms LLC is very proud of Amir El Rashid and wishes Two Mountain Ranch the best with him in their future.

Amir El Rashid is sired by Amir El Fareed a JEVA bred stallion who was spotted by an agent for His Royal Highness Prince Bandar Al Faisul as a handsome two year old colt. Although he has not yet been shown, he has the potential to claim championship after championship and sire foals that are of extreme quality as well. Amir El Fareed is sired by El Norus, a multi-Champion in Class A Halter and Perfomance who is sired by the EAO import *Norus, sire of *Hadidi, National Champion of Italy. *Norus was sired by Gharib who was a sire of significance and a black stallion imported from Egypt in 1970 to Germany where he was chief sire at Marbach. He sired Sharigha who won the 2 year old filly class at Aachen in 1982. His son, El Abd won the Medingen performance trials in 1977 and has an impressive number of wins in show jumping. Also a Gharib son, Sirhan, placed fifth in all breeds in performance trials in Germany in 1981. Gharib was also used for Trakehner breeding and has sired licensed Trakehner stallions including one licensing winner. He was also used in Wurttemburger breeding - large, powerful riding and driving horses at Marbach. *Norus was out of the Hadban Enzahi (Nazeer x Kamla) daughter, Noha. Hadban Enzahi was a sire of significance and was the first Nazeer son to come to Germany’s Marbach Stud. His first foal, the mare Sahmet, became one of Marbach’s best mares producing valuable sons, all of whom were double Nazeer. At Marbach, his daughters out of his daughter Nadja were an important element in their broodmare band. Noha was out of Nadja by Nazeer and out of the beautiful mare, Nefisa, dam of El Hilal. Nefisa was sired by the racing phenomenon Balance and out of the Farida grandaughter, Helwa.

El Norus is out of Keraima by Dalul a U.S. National Top Ten Champion Stallion. Dalul is by *Morafic, a U.S. National Champion Stallion, and out of *Dawlat, a Class A Halter and Performance Champion as well as being the dam of Wazir Ibn Morafic, Doriah and Asjah Ibn Faleh. Keraima is out of Cedardell Tiffany who was sired by Serentiy Menkaure and out of Serenity Bint Nadia. Serenity Menkaure was sired by Khofo the sire of the fantastic, incomparable broodmare, Bint Magidaa. Serenity Menkaure was out of Serenity Montaha by Galal and out of Mona (Badr x Mahdia by Hamdan). Serenity Bint Nadia was sired by Sameh, who was known for producing excellent bodies and out of Nadia (Ezzat x Nafaa).

Amir El Fareed is out of our foundation mare, Bint Hafarrah who is sired by the Bentwood Farms stallion, Bay Halima. Bay Halima was foaled February 13, 1972 and bred by Jarrell Mc Cracken of Bentwood Farms. He was sold to Les and Lois St. Clair of St. Clair Egyptian Arabian Stud November 27, 1974 where he successfully sired eight foals to their delight. Bentwood Farms sought to re-purchase Bay Halima and were successful in 1977. He lived at Bentwood Farms until his premature death in 1983 one month before he turned 11 years old siring a total offspring of 21 colts and 20 fillies. Bay Halima was sired by three times U.S. National Top Ten Halter Champion 1966, 1967, 1969, English Park Horse Champion Stallion, Most Classic Arabian and Legion of Merit Winner, *Ansata Ibn Halima++ who also sired U.S. National Champion Stallion, Ansata Ibn Sudan, U.S. National Champion Mare, Fa Halima, Reserve National Champion Stallion of Europe, Ansata Abbas Pasha and Reserve National Champion Mare of Europe, Fa Halima. Bay Halima was out of the beautiful mare, AlNahr Mona Lisa who was sired by U.S. National Top Ten Stallion 1971 *Ibn Moniet El Nefous who was also a sire of National Champions in Halter and Performance. AlNahr Mona Lisa was out of *Nagat, daughter of Anter a noted broodmare sire. *Nagat’s dam was the Nazeer daughter, Abla out of Helwa a granddaughter of Farida.

Bint Hafarrah is out of *AK Hamida imported from the Arab Republic of Egypt as EAO #616 in 1978 by Russ Reid. *AK Hamida was sired by Nasralla, a son of the racing phenomenon Balance out of the black mare Sehr. *AK Hamida was out of Bint El Dahma, a daughter of the well-known broodmare sire Sid Abouham out of the Nazeer daughter El Dahma II who was also a granddaughter of Farida, the dam of Balance and granddam of Halima.

Amir El Rashid's dam is *MB Jamillsa, our best producing broodmare. Jamillsa is a culmination of the best attributes of her ancestors - her pedigree has been expertly blended. Her disposition is much like that of her grandam and great-grandam, Hanan, as described in Dr. Nagel's book entitled "Hanan: The Story of an Arabian Mare and of the Arabian Breed". Her head can accurately be described as extreme and exotic with a large, dark, soft, eye. Her muzzle fits perfectly into the cup of a woman's hand and her features are that of quality and refinement. Her thin, supple skin is covered by a soft, fine, shiny coat that sheds out to a "clipped" finish. She was foaled in 1995, is straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa and bay in color standing just over 15 hands. She is graceful and elegant with superb performance potential because of her free moving shoulders, incredible reaching trot and her ability to drive deep up under herself for impulsion. Jamillsa has a long, slender neck with extraordinary flexion, good overall balance, straight legs and a good croup. An outstanding producer for JEVA Farms and our most honored brodmare. The sire side of Jamillsa's pedigree is chock full of champions and champion producer: She is sired by Imperial Saturn, a 1994 United States National Top Ten Champion Stallion, a 1995 and 1996 Egyptian Event Reserve Champion in Country English Pleasure Jr. horses and Open respectively as well as finishing 3rd on the cards in Region 9 Ladies Western Sidesaddle Open(only his 2nd time shown in this class!) behind the National and Reserve Champions. . He is also a multi-champion in western pleasure with several championship halter titles. Imperial Saturn was sired by *Ibn Safinaz, a National Top Ten Stallion and performance champion. *Ibn Safinaz sired the 1992 United States Reserve National Champion Futurity Stallion, Muzac, and a 1995 United States National Top Ten Stallion, MB Mistaz, as well as many other champions both in performance and halter classes. His get continue to accumulate championships to his credit. Imperial Saturn is out of Imperial Mistilll, who has produced champion after champion earning the title of Imperial Egyptian Stud's most famous broodmare. Imperial Mistilll was sired by *Jamilll a United States National Top Ten Champion Stallion, a competitive dressage mount in Germany and a son of the incomparable mare, Hanan, of Dr. Hans Nagel's Katherinenhof Stud. Hanan is the dam and grandam of some very well-known arabians and her influence spans the World. In her lifetime, she produced 11 foals, including the aforementioned *Jamilll. She is the dam of Asfour, of the famous Simeon Stud in Australia. Asfour is the sire of World Reserve Senior Champion Stallion, Simeon Sadik and Ibn Galal I, the sire of *Ibn Galal 1-7, a United States Top Ten National Champion Mare. Hanan is also the dam of Salaa El Dine the sire of the more recent import, *Shahir, who is also a multi-champion stallion. *Jamilll's sire is Madkour I the 1972 and 1982 National Champion Stallion of West Germany as well as a multi-National Champion producing sire. Imperial Mistilll's dam is Ansata Nile Mist who was sired by the first straight Egyptian United States National Champion Stallion, Ansata Ibn Sudan. Ansata Nile Mist was out of Falima who was sired by the very famous and multi-Champion National Top Ten Stallion, *Ansata Ibn Halima.

The dam's side of Jamillsa's pedigree is equally impressive being out of the *Jamilll daughter, Bint Jamilla* who was exported to Australia in 1997. Bint Jamilla is out of the *Ansata Ibn Halima daughter, Monisa Halima who's dam AK Monisa Moniet sold for $560,000.00 at the Bentwood Spectacular sale in the 80's. AK Monisa Moniet was sired by *Ibn Moniet El Nefous another National Top Ten Champion Stallion as well as multi-National Champion producing sire. AK Monisa Moniet was out of Monisa RSI who was sired by the performance producer *Rashad Ibn Nazeer and out of none other than the famous, *Bint Moniet El Nefous. *Bint Moniet El Nefous hails from one of the most prolific mare lines in the World, Moniet El Nefous.
