Ali Nafis & Hanana II Both sired by Odysseus HF, both from the Moniet El Nefous Family  At their new home in Maryland. Here's what their new owner had to say about them following an extensive vet exam: "Hi Liz, Everything went well at the vet exams yesterday and they were both very good during the whole ordeal. Can you believe we were there for 6 hours! I don't think poor Nafis will ever get on a trailer again. Poor little guy, his first trailering experience was about halfway across the country and his second experience was to be poked and prodded for six hours. They all loved how well Hanna handled everything and my vet loves her movement. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have them vetted. We are certainly in love with them and don't need anymore of the 30 day trial period (note: these horses were sold with a 30 day money back guarantee). I am going to (hopefully) get better pictures of them this weekend and will send them on to you. We are going to start Hanna under saddle this fall, probably sometime around October, and I will keep you updated on her progress. Fortunately, I have access to an indoor arena, that is less then 1 mile away, so the winter doesn't slow our progress down too much. I hope ,if everything goes according to plan, to show her in hand and under saddle next spring along with my gelding that I just started under saddle. Wow, starting two horses at the same time- I'm nuts! :) Oh well at least they are well behaved Arabs. My gelding has been the best and the easiest horse to bring along and I think Hanna will be the same. I still have people comment on the fact that my gelding has been under saddle for about 6 weeks and goes around the arena like it's nothing. My favorite comment is Arabs are so "hot" why are yours calm? :) I don't want them all to know the truth or I will have more people to compete against. LOL Thank you for everything you have done and I will keep you updated on our progress. I'll let you know what shows we will be going to next spring so if you want to meet up we can. Here's what Suzy wrote upon her move to North Carolina: Liz, Thought you might enjoy an update on Jamie. I call her Scarlet, her personality has always reminded me of Scarlet O'Hara! She now resides with me in North Carolina! She made the 12 hour trip wonderfully as did her pasture mates. Down here you only see Tennesse Walkers or Quarter horses on the mountain trails. She and I often take ribbing as the ride begins, however, she outrides every trail horse I have come across no matter the terrain, and here in the mountains you get some great terrain! We ride into camp at the same perky pace we left, while the other horses drag in with heads low-slung! The locals give her the praise she is due at that point. She is definitely the lead mare, though a kind leader. She is very dear to me and has a lifetime home. I have never bred her, don't know if I will, but I definitely enjoy looking at her beautiful features.
